Finishing & final product

A strong structure and flawless form are essential – but it’s the finishing that truly brings a decor piece to life. This is where the final details are refined, colors and textures are applied, and materials are polished to perfection. Everything has to be just right, from the subtlest shift in color to the way light and shadow play across the surface.

For us, finishing goes far beyond paint and coating. We use a range of techniques to add texture, depth, and realism. Wood grain, weathering effects, metallic finishes – every surface is given the look and feel that matches the intended result. Whether it’s a hyper-realistic decor piece or a fantastical setting, this phase is what gives the decor the power to fully transport people to another world.

Finishing and final product

Perfection lives in the details

A decor piece can be technically flawless, but without the right finishing, it lacks character. This is the phase where colors, textures, and fine details are applied with precision. It’s the final step that determines how a piece feels, looks, and fully draws the viewer into another world. This is where an object stops being just a construction and becomes a convincing part of a greater experience.

Finishing goes far beyond a coat of paint. It determines how a decor piece fits into its surroundings, how it responds to light, and how it transforms a space. That’s why we combine different techniques to achieve the right effect. Airbrushing and spray techniques create subtle color transitions and realistic shading, while hand-applied patinas give objects a sense of age and depth. Lacquers and coatings set gloss levels and add protection. Texture and relief techniques bring depth and character to surfaces. Each detail is built up layer by layer, until the decor has exactly the right finish.

A well-designed object can look flat or artificial without the right surface treatment, while a subtle weathering or carefully layered paint technique can make it instantly believable. A rock should feel solid. A metal frame should look raw. A wooden beam should feel alive. This is where we fine-tune every element and where the finishing truly makes the difference. In this phase, a decor piece isn’t just completed, it becomes fully integrated into the environment it was made for. It should feel like it’s always been there.
